Ducks sold commercially have to be farm raised so they can inspected. One can't go shoot wild animals and sell them for human consumption.
What if they are imported from China or somewhere in Asia? I just assume the food I am eating at an inexpensive Chinese restaurant has sketchy origins and try to keep it simple.
Not from a small semi local farm that is probably feeding their ducks a special diet and treating them humanely as possible which is what I assume the OP is asking about.
