Huh, we just had a fundraiser for my kids’ school there last week. Hibernian got kicked out for the Newk’s and they sure didn’t last long...two years.

That was supposed to be first of a dozen corporate-owned Newk’s in the area, but the rest never got off the ground.

Not surprised. They were nothing special IMHO. The place seems to be cursed though...

I miss the Hibernian.

And, Newks trashed out the pub design completely.

Same. The Hibernian pub design was great.

Newks could probably have advertised better or had better signage. I forgot it even existed until this thread happened.

I hope you aren't the owner and this place isn't your livelihood. If so, I hate it for you and good luck in your future endeavors. But based on the comments I can see why the place didn't produce enough revenue.

lol... wow. Yeah I think they really dropped the ball with marketing their own business. If people who are literally a block away don't know you exist, then sweet mercy you've failed.

Haha fortunately I'm not. I only went there for the bogo coupons. I'll miss that.

It was one place my family could all agree on. . . Not amazing, but good enough. And we often saw it very busy- they were pretty busy today even though they are running out of stuff. Thanks for posting so we could go one last time.
