Well OK then. I'm glad that I got some opinions because I really felt like I was getting the shaft. If you think that the company is being reasonable, then I'll give in.

These guys kinda have a monopoly for the area. I'll look around.

was it Super Sod? Surprised they had such a bad batch.

We had ours done by a one-man show but he seems to have closed up shop which is too bad because he was a BARGAIN.

I used a landscaping company to install sod in my front yard last summer. I sent an email to the owner earlier this week and told him my situation. He just got back with me this morning. He said that he also installed sod from this same company earlier this year for a client and it too was bad. The sod company not only replaced the sod, but paid for his labor required to replace the sod. So, it seems like I am getting the shaft as I am a homeowner and not a landscaping company.

Has anyone suggested Green Side Up Lawn Company

In all seriousness, I have had neighbors cruise a construction site for a house being built looking for a South of the border looking guy on a back hoe or similar device. They would slip them x amount of money and they would roll over during lunch or their way to and from a work site and level the yard. They also knew laborers who wanted the extra money and would lay sod cheap as in real cheap. Not sure it would work now they might suspect it was an ICE trap.
