I bought glasses at the Spectacle last time and they were pricey but they really went the extra mile in helping me pick out a flattering frame and were not hesitant to give their opinion on which were best for my face. I've found other places to be more "whatever you like...."
Another Vote for Warby Parker. You can order 5 frames for free and try them on for five days. They have style consultant to help pick out the right one for you. Plus they're only like $95.
NOT if you wear progressive lenses.
If price us a factor. I've priced progressives out extensively (with designer frames). Costco beats everybody, including online. (And progressives often need adjusting which is something not as easy with an online order.)
Sorry, I thought you were referring to adjusting the frames. I've never needed lenses adjusted.
