$109k average salary seems high for an insurance company.
Do these estimates typically include support staff (secretaries, maintenance crew, cafeteria help, etc.) ?

Great question. If it does, they must have a high percentage of top salaries well into the six figures.

Really hope these jobs will be moving downtown or North Hills to get another office project started.

i work in insurance and we have none of these people except support personnel in our local office. Unless they are putting in an HQ or regional office and/or own the building, none of these things would be a part of their budget.

If they have execs in the office they can certainly counterbalance the equation.

Well thats good. Dillon over 96 percent leased with keep the office space occupancy for downtown extremely low and should hopefully expedite some of the other office projects.

I'm just happy they selected downtown instead of North Hills.

Methinks another tall tower is in downtown's future.

No way in hell until Apple and Amazon finally decide on something, doesn't matter where. Raleigh developers are property value vultures first, developers second.

Yeah you're probably right. Ive stated before that i believe some of the projects have gone radio silent because of waiting to see what Amazon and to a lesser degree Apple will do. But with the office space almost maxed out downtown there needs to be something getting built. It might not start the edison or n&o any faster but i think it will keep the momentum with smaller projects like the second glenwood tower going.
