Thanks! Yeah, you can view the 2017 and previous years lists, however, they just announced the 2018 list over the span of last week. Unfortunately those are only viewable at the time with a subscription, which for $100+ I can't afford at the moment.

Companies must have a majority their employees fill out a questionnaire favorably and submit it within a short period of time. I imagine the bigger employers like SAS, IQVIA, RTI and so on realize the effort they may put to win one of these awards isn't worth their time, given their already established reputations and success in the Triangle.
My employer is in that list.
And, not anything against them, but I'm surprised given the relative small size and just being one office of many of our large corporation and low employee count locally compared to other ones with much larger footprint here. Seems really like it mostly depends how vigilant HR pushes these surveys on their staff to get into the list.
SAS focuses their attention towards the national and international best places to work lists, where they've always fared very well.
