I'm still wondering if the AK27 allegation wouldn't add perjury to the paltry misdemeanor.

No.

From the dictionary:
Quote:
per·ju·ry
/ˈpərj(ə)rē/
noun Law

noun: perjury; plural noun: perjuries
the offense of willfully telling an untruth in a court after having taken an oath or affirmation.
The man was not testifying in court so he cannot be guilty of perjury.

DH often teases me that I am too nice when I drive. I never tailgate. If someone is tailgating me, I move over as soon as I can/if I can. I never get upset, yell, or make gestures to other drives over something I perceive they did wrong. And, I never, ever honk my horn unless someone is about to hit me (such as moving into my lane without looking).

To me, it just isn't worth getting angry about, potentially angering someone with a quick fuse, or worse being confronted by someone over a perceived slight.

Yep. My husband had a gun shown to him during a road rage incident too. We try to only complain inside the car and not beep or yell.

Once you've had a gun pulled on you by someone you know to have lawfully purchased said gun, it puts the whole "all of those people are law-abiding gun owners" thing into perspective.

I don't point a finger or make any gestures to other drivers. I don't lay on the horn, or intimidate other drivers that might a confrontation. I don't carry a gun in the car and the last thing I want is some bonehead sticking a gun in my face. I mind my own business on the road and have never been involved in a road rage incident thank goodness.

I don't understand your question. Have you been to the state ccw class? Just trying to condense their guidance into a forum post of a few sentences.

Maybe the confusion is that you as the person pointing the gun you should provide the opportunity to allow the party getting the gun pointed at them a chance to deescalate the situation.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Taking a picture of a license plate doesn't require deescalation.

I guess I needed to see these posts, because that kind of body language I've been known to do when vehicularly harassed will get me in trouble one day.
