Is there anyway to get tickets without paying for all those fees?

The prices have really gone up on tickets and whereas I'm fine paying $100 per ticket, I don't like paying the additional $40 for fees!

Usually going to the box office to buy the tickets saves you some of the fees. Hopefully, someone else can confirm.

Thanks michgc!

I called DPAC today and found out that if I go to the DPAC, I can buy tickets without any of the fees.

The only problem is that I can't use my code for early access. I just have to go when the tickets go on sale to the general public.

By going there directly, I pay only for the tickets. So, if I were to buy 2 of the $30 tickets, I save $28. The higher priced tickets save more. I think the "convenience" fee has gotten to be a bit much and since I'll be in Durham next week, I may just stop by and pick up my tickets!

I thought tickets have been on sale for at least a week. Maybe I'm thinking of the presale.

The presale has been going on for a few days. I'm not sure if everyone gets their code at the same time. Mine came on Monday, saying I could use it starting Wednesday.

Public sales starts March 7th.

I guess I never realized how much I was paying for fees!

My fees are 16% of the total cost.

They can be purchased on the website now without a presale code.
