Hello,

My search for good fresh cinnamon rolls that do not have cream cheese topping has not yielded satisfying results very close in Cary yet. I will investigate any good suggestions provided outside of grocery store chains.

I tried Great Harvest and found theirs to be too dense (I'm looking for a softer dough with more "bounce".
The biscuit cinnamon rolls at Rise are interesting, but not what I'm looking for.
I believe LaFarm had cinnamon rolls with cream cheese topping (I don't like the flavor of cream cheese).
So far the cinnamon rolls from Aldi have been better, but obviously they aren't fresh.

I don't really want to drive to Pittsboro just for a coffee and cinnamon roll (from Willy's).
I thought the cinnamon rolls at Monuts were really good, but again that is a 30 minutes drive just for a cinnamon roll and a coffee.

TIA

I don’t eat them, but my neighbor loves the cinnamon rolls from Lowe’s Foods.

Aldi's are the best, usually next to their apple fritters.

When local Lidl opens, there may be a better choice!

As long as we're discussing sourcing locally baked products, if anyone knows where to get great crumb cake, please share.

Carolina Glazed Donuts in RTP, has some good cinnamon rolls, not quite Cary, but not as far as Monuts. There are some pictures of the rolls on their yelp page.

And only 15 minutes from downtown Cary in Crabtree Valley Mall. I've never had one but they sure smell good in the airports when I walk by...
