Recent transplant here from NY...having trouble finding couple of my favorite things, have only tried Publix/Harris Teeter/Food Lion/Whole Foods so far:
1) I feel like I’ve picked up every frozen/ready-to-heat purported “thin crust” pizza and they are all so thick, it’s supposed to be so thin that it cracks when you try to fold (oddly frozen Newman’s was the least disappointing)
2) smoked salmon is an expensive thing to dabble in, have 2 fails already, too salty, not fatty enough, any advice?
I feel like the frozen pizza options would be the same everywhere. If you want to go to a restaurant, you can't do better than Oakwood Pizza Box, which is outstanding. They just added a sicilian pizza which is my new favorite.
I don't think there is any place in the triangle that makes fresh smoked salmon, so I make do with Trader Joe's Wild Alaskan smoked salmon.
Hopefully the new Wegman's will help you find what you're looking for.

I've tried most of them, and Newman's four cheese thin crust is about the best I've had so far. Not too bad for frozen pizza.
... Smoked salmon isn't local here so look for the brand you bought back in New York.
Harris Teeter sells Acme brand which (IIRC) is commonly found in NYC supermarkets. They have it "on sale" every few weeks. The product comes into the store hard-frozen and it thaws in the refrigerated display case. The meat/seafood man will give you hard-frozen packages upon request. I stock up with hard-frozen, keep it in the home freezer, use as needed.
Papa Murphy's take-and-bake pizza has a commendably thin crust. They have a store almost next-door to the Apex (NC55) Harris Teeter. Papa Murphy assembles the pie before your eyes so you have an opportunity to make your thinner-than-thin preference known.

If you want to try a DIY version, get something like a pellet smoker tray, some frozen salmon at Costco, etc. and do a cold smoke. It is really easy to smoke salmon (and cheese, salt, etc, etc.) https://www.amazon.com/MAZE-N-Pellet.../dp/B007ROPJ1M
What frozen pizza did you eat in NY? I don't think I've ever had a frozen pizza that you could fold NY style so I'm real curious on this one. This also has to be a first - a NYer looking for a frozen pizza.
I lived on these in NY, I know it’s unfair to compare FreshDirect’s epicurean offerings to traditional supermarkets. But I appreciate people’s suggestions in case I’m missing something off the beaten path.
Good grief. Why make this hard. Make your own dough - four ingredients - flour, salt, yeast, water. Get a pizza stone and a peel. Buy smoked salmon at Whole Foods. Put whatever you want on the pizza. Cook it in a hot oven.
