Are there any low key jazz / blues clubs in the Triangle area? By low key I mean not crowded, mostly sit down not standing only, not large space or crowd.

There used to be a nice one in Hillsborough but it has been
years since I've been and I can't remember the name of it?
I wish I could be of more help...

C Grace during the week fits this criteria (it's a little crowded on the weekends but never crazy crowded)

The Blue Note Grill in Durham has sit down & meal service in the music area. They do have stand-up area along the sides for the bigger acts, but I have always been able to get a seat. The Triangle Blues Society has a free jam on the 1st Sunday of each month.

The Durham Hotel sometimes have a jazz/r&b band playing on the rooftop. Bars/clubs that only do jazz/blues, aren't really a thing anymore. You make more money appealing to a wider variety of types

Watts & Ward has jazz every Thursday and Sunday in downtown Raleigh. I'm not sure how crowded it is though but it's a nice dark place.
