This car has been sitting on the side of the 64 near 55 for weeks. Does anyone know why this would not have been impounded by the police?

No idea. Why don't you give them a call.

Maybe 64 is a sanctuary highway?

Seriously though, why would anyone on here know the answer. If you're too embarrassed to call the cops, then you're out of luck.

Why does everything on here have to be so antagonistic?

It would just be nice if people gave a little thought to their posts prior to posting. The police would be the obvious choice for this, not random people on an internet forum.

Weak people hiding in anonymity encourages childish snarkiness.
Sad, but true.

does it have the orange sticker on it?

and yes, i would say the more appropriate response is to report it to the Apex police/NCHP. they both have non-emergency numbers.

My question was not specifically about this car (as it does not really bother me.. just a nice Lexus that has been abandoned for weeks) but rather why the police would not have a policy to impound the cars abandoned on public roads. It does have an orange sticker on it and I have no idea what that means.
