Default Thanks for the Spring Treat, NRG

Loved the photographs, North Raleigh Guy. The white Dutch colonial looks exactly like a home I more or less grew up in, down in Wilmington, NC. (We moved my freshman year in college to another home in the same area.)

How pretty and fresh everything looks. The azaleas made me long for Wilmington. The NC Azalea Festival was just this past weekend.

Thanks for the photos. No thanks for making me homesick.

My favorite 'hood in Raleigh, too!
*sigh* I miss living in Cameron Park...I lived off Park/West Park and having that park right down the center was heaven for me and the dogs...not to mention walking to Jackpot(or whatever its called now) and/or IHOP.
I bought a Raleigh book at Quail Ridge a few years ago and there are awesome pictures from the early days.

Not sure of the range but I've always heard its the most expensive neighborhood in Raleigh (or maybe just ITB) I think avearage is in the 500Ks. Some that face Peace seem to be cheaper. Remember seing one on Park Drive that was asking 900K a few years ago...If I could afford it...I'd buy in a second over there!

Hayes- Barton, Country Club Hills and the White Oak Road area are all more expensive than Cameron Park. Mainly due to the homes being larger on average. Most of the nicer ITB hoods(those above plus Budleigh, Five Points, Drewery Hills, Anderson Heights etc) command $250 per square or more.

I love Cameron Park. I stay at a b & b in that neighborhood a lot, and it's a beautiful area for a stroll.
