Tracking this storm is literally all over the place...it was a brush off at first, then a notable but not devastating sure hit for Florida, now it might skirt the FL coast and hit the Carolinas. Who knows where this thing will end up going?

8AM advisory from today is this:

00z GFS hr144 is more sinister for ENC:

Let's just keep an eye on it...

I got all the supplies I want or need last year. I probably have too much. If a tree falls on my house it's all worthless anyway and that's a distinct possibility if a big storm blows through. Nothing I can do about it, especially since the biggest threats to my house are my tree-hugging neighbor's beloveds.

"Precipitation Event", as in trillions of gallons raked in off of the very warm ocean off our coast - for an extended time period.

That's my concern when I see the track predictions. It may go up a category or two after passing Florida.

That’s works for me according to that track. Still though...long, long way off.

Meal planning tip:

Saturdays = busy day there for food samples...they usually end around 5:30, and they have to use up what's on hand. Vendor is forbidden to refuse seconds! ;-)

Actually I started the thread. It's fun to discuss, but inevitably the media creates panic for ratings.
