Probably, but anecdotally, I'm in a fantasy league with my neighbors in Heritage. Out of 14 guys, 9 of them are Pats fans....and none of them are from New England.

This stuff about Cam, how the Panthers as my adopted second team before we moved here and their subsequent choking in games ever since despite them looking like a good team, then other stuff about the NFL, and my number one team continuing to suck the past few years, then my second backup team KC looking great but also missing things they should have made, and the whole "game time totals to 11 minutes a game" thing, the Pats empire which became boring long ago, all total up to pretty much me passing on NFL this season, and it's the only sport I watch or cared about.

Now Battle Bots, that's something else....

I passed on the NFL 2-3 years ago with all the political BS and absolutely love having my Sundays back. Today I could care less which team, filled with all the off-field drama, wins or loses. They all walk away with millions and attitudes. It's a lot easier than giving up smoking, drinking, ice cream.

Tell us how much less you could care, dear sir. We all are excited for your answer.

Brady is as cocky as they come, and if you could talk to him with his guard down, it would be obvious. No one achieves the success Brady has without being cocky.

I think that Tom Brady feels that he is only as good as the game he is in. He's got some big shoulders to carry that empire. Some "cocky" guys rest on their laurels. Those are the cocky ones.

Last comment: I am proud we didn't let this simple football discussion turn into a black/white thing (all thought there was a jab or two from someone saying "we would think different if Cam was white". Probably a Republican spewing hate and bigotry).

zzzzzz.

nice try

If you look at the posting history of the person who said that, he is not close to being republican. Now lets see if you edit your response to say "probably a democrat spewing hate and bigotry" probably not huh

Hypocrisy at its best lol

I WAS trying to point out that obviously the Republicans are blamed for "spewing" but it comes from the OTHER side as well.

Next we'll cover how Trump and the republicans are tearing this country apart.

Rich, respectfully I always think this is a goofy (& misleading) comparison. Fans stating that a running QB is more 'athletic' than a precise pocket passer.
It takes a lot of unique athleticism to heave a long pass in to a small window, etc. If u see a running back, or kicker toss a pass (on a trick play). You see the stark contrast in their lesser accuracy & velocity. Arm strength & control is an athletic talent, no more or less than scrambling ability, my opinion.
sCam Newton lacks some of that passing precision, so in totality I don't think his superior scrambling makes him hundreds times more athletic than Brady.
