Guys, I need your advise on how to keep my 4 guest (coming to NC from Jamaica in December) entertained. Normally the family would escape to Florida for a week or two during the Christmas holidays but I just started back out to work and decided to stay local this year and will have family friends coning to stay with us and am concerned how I am going to keep them interested and for them to have fun here in NC.

What to do and where to go ... Any ideas guys? Any shows, places to see, exciting and memorable things to do? I know if we were in Orlando, there would be a lot to do ... Universal Studios, Disney, Water Parks, Beaches etc., but that is on the back burner this year

Thanks

For Christmas stugf / decorations

Angus barn (go to the turkey lounge - no need to pop for an entire dinner.)
The Biltmore in Asheville.
Carolina Inn - lovely Christmas tea, but overpriced IMO. Walk thru to see the decorations.

If the Duke Chapel performance of Handel's Messiah is happening during their visit, go. Buy tickets as soon as possible because it sells out.

How long are they staying? If it's over a few days, you might need to leave the Triangle for entertainment.
