My pediatrician office is all booked up for their flu clinics until mid November. I have tried other local pediatricians however they only offer for established patients.

Can anyone recommend where my toddler can get the flu shot? Are the minute clinics and cvs/target locations reliable? Would you trust going there?

Thanks.

I got mine at the Duke clinic in Apex this year. My better half got hers at Publix and got a free $10 Publix gift card after.

Yes, any of them are fine. It's a pretty basic procedure. I've gotten mine most years at a Rite-Aid.

I'm not sure that any of those places will give a flu shot to a toddler - call first and ask. I've gotten mine at Walgreen's in the past before I started this job where we can get them. Worse comes to worst you can make an appointment with your pediatrician and get the shots - usually it can be a "nurse appointment".

We have had our flu shots at pharmacies for years.
Pick a friendly pharmacist for a toddler....

Pharmacies won't do toddlers. At least that was our experience. Minute clinic may be an exception, not sure.

Yes Minute Clinic will: https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/ser...s/N-d8ZbtpbZd5

They picked the wrong flu strand this year so the shot won't be aligned with what appears to be the strand going around.

It looks like it's probably not any worse than any other year.
