I’ve heard great things about Di Fara, but never made the trek to Brooklyn or the hour long wait. It’s supposed to be legendary though.

last I heard, they shut down for failing to pay taxes. I read a couple articles on the original. None mentioned the nephew, or any of the offspring with the same last name. 2 of the 5 or 6 worked with Domenico as of 2004 and 2009.

I hope the pizza is fantastic, and satisfies the wanderlust and craving our many NYC transplants have.

His daughter Maggie runs it and they have more than one location. We don’t need your approval and neither do they.

It would be good to have, for those few times we have pizza, one where the crust doesn't either taste like cardboard, have a cardboard consistency, or both.
