My family is moving to Wake County, most likely Wake Forest... most of the children are thrilled except my oldest... she is an avid field hockey player and Wake County schools do not offer field hockey....

So I need your HELP... are there any "travel" or "club" teams for teenagers playing field hockey... she is entering 9th grade.

My husband is a Wake Forest police officer. There is only one small area of town that is of any crime concern. It's "across the railroad tracks" on the other side of downtown. The schools are fantastic. Most are year-round though. Not sure if that's a deterrent.

No, it's on the same side of town more or less....but not that close and it's not that huge of a concern.

Even the worst parts of Wake Forest, and yes, we have them...are not THAT bad nor do they tend to spill out. You are not moving to south central LA.
