I'm curious about folks experiences with that. How long it took to get an offer, which offer you got, and whether submitting such request would affect your later court chances with a lawyer if you got an offer you did not want to accept. I would only accept the offer a lawyer could get me (improper equipment), and If I could get that online, that would save lawyer fees. Worth it?

The best you can do online is a reduction to 9 miles an hour over the speed limit, not a reduction to improper equipment.

@ Edward Teach, Thank you for your reply. In the link you gave I read "If the district attorney offers an online reduction, the reduced charge, in the district attorney's discretion, will be nine miles over the posted limit or improper equipment. Other reductions require a court appearance. Citizens will receive an email including the reduced offense and associated cost."

so, it seems it would be possible to get improper equipment. Are you saying that never happens? Any idea how long it takes to get an offer for reduction?

Sorry, I misread the website and didn't see the reduction to improper equipment as a possibility.
