Finally and not a penny a gallon to soon the buses will finally be making their way up to that little out post called Wake Forest! Tentative plan is to start to have the bus service running August 1, 2008! Then on May 13 there will be a public hearing to get 'EVERYONE's' input that will attend if the proposed routes will meet the publics needs. See attached Wake Forest Gazette article! Hopefully and possibly and wishfully even they will have one to run well drive would be more appropriate to RTP. But its a start!

In the spirit of the Lord of the Rings we shall call it: The Fellowship of the Buses! Raleigh and Wake Forest working together to bring more than water up this way but actual public transportation! Kudos to all the people that worked so hard to make this a reality!

The buses are coming! The buses are coming! ....and on the 1st day of August that is, he created the bus route to Wake Forest....... Happy Tuesday! Did you get your gas today....might as well it will be higher tomorrrow!!!

Great.

Will really help WF residents who need to get downtown for things like jury duty, etc.

This is great news for WF. Also for Wakefield residents -- my wife and I share a car right now, and this certainly can be a plus for getting downtown for Jury Duty (had to get dropped off at Triangle Town Center last month for the express for JD), out for errands, etc...

If anyone goes to the meeting, could you let us know the anticipated routes? When we move there, we'd like to be close to the service for my DH.

They had the meeting.

Here is the review of the meeting. Still progressing on schedule for an August 1 2008 debut.

I thought you meant the school busses. The last day of school was today and the school bus just drove up and dropped them all off!
