Will they be rationing alcohol sales?

Commissioner Vicki Adamson said the order will only apply for unincorporated parts of the county, but that Wake is "asking for our municipalities to join up so it is consistent throughout the county."
Is this a typo? Isn't most of Wake County incorporated? So it wouldn't apply to most of Wake County?

Most of Wake County residents, population, are in incorporated areas.
But, there are huge unincorporated geographic areas in the rural areas.
N Raleigh, up to Granville County.
Eastern Wake County.
And, much of the area south of I-40, clear down to Harnett or Johnston County.

Mike, what percent of the population of Wake lives outside incorporated areas? My bet is less than 20%. Since the virus seems to be more prevalent in denser populated areas, this edict seems worthless. I think it's a typo.

I would be shocked if cities didn't also opt into the same guidelines. Wake County is just taking the lead here.

I suspect it won't be long before it's a moot point, and the restriction is statewide.

The issue doesn't really change anything anyways. It just shifts from "recommendations" to "policy". Durham said they aren't going to fine/arrest anyone for breaking shelter-in-place policies.

Its not a typo. Wake County can't legislate what happens inside incorporated cities. Thats why they are asking the municipalities to do the same thing.

Yes, about 20% in unincorporated areas. In 2013, total Wake County population was 974,289. Total population on unincorporated areas was 190,504.

It's trended around 20% for quite some time.

Somewhat similar here in Durham County.

City of Durham enacted a stay at home order this morning, but doesn't affect residents out in the county. And when we do go into Durham to pick up exempt goods (groceries, prescription ) it's all good.

Might go up to Roxboro to buy groceries if even needed actually, so only thing we need in town, as a county resident, is our Durham pharmacy and Duke Health annual physical. Both "essential" / exempt from stay-home, as far as I understand it.
