Default Annual Backflow Device Testing - Cary

I just received a letter from the town of Cary regarding annual backflow device testing. The letter says that I can opt out of the town-coordinated program and find my own licensed testing company to do the test.

Has anyone had success finding a company that will charge less than the $55 that the town of Cary charges?

Most charge between 55 -65. You can't just use anyone, they have to be town approved. We are just letting the town do it, one less hassle to schedule.

We paid $60 to get our system turned on (backflow put back on) plus the certification.
