They tore down a bunch of framing that was too far gone to save and have begun work on the units that were far enough along to complete.

Unfortunately, if the previous developer owes you money the foreclosure sale cancels out any liens placed on the property after BoA's initial mortgage and credit lines were recorded. That means that vendors, subs, employees, and homebuyers with deposits have nowhere to go to get paid. It's over.
