If you want to see Carrboro, Open Eye Cafe has outdoor seating right in the middle of downtown Carrboro. Also make sure to check out Weaver Street Market, which has good coffee and a big yard with outdoor seating. Both Open Eye and WSM are covered by the Town of Carrboro's free wireless network.

Does Caffe Driade allow you to have your dog with you if you sit out back? Cause that would be great--I'd like to take a drive to Chapel Hill and hang out and drink coffee but have my dog with me too.

Driade definitely allows dogs outside. I see a few every time I go.

Talking AMEN to It's A Grind!

We're not there yet (still living in Northern California), but we have 3 It's A Grind coffee houses within 8+/- miles of our home and WE LOVE THEM! If you have never tried their Mint Chip Mocha... let me just say it's to die for! It's A Grind makes Starbucks look and feel like a fast food place. The ambiance is nicer, the coffee is better, etc. I was elated to find out there's an It's A Grind in Cary. Helps make our decision to move a little easier!
