i was really looking forward to them this afternoon. i checked WRAL and there is no sign of anything coming on the radar. maybe they'll be here later tonight??

I think they are to the west of us. I'm not sure how much it will affect the Triangle. I'm still trying to figure out if the strawberry picking field trip tomorrow is a go

I hear there is a tornado watch for the area tonight thru tomorrow.

This forecast ruled! It kept all the hackers off the golf course. I got 9 holes in within 1 hour Keep it up. I'd like to play 18 tomorrow afternoon, I hear there is a tsunami warning tomorrow. Buy milk stay in the house.

Just got home - via 540. The lightening is wildly frightening. Still seems a bit west of us. Going to batten the hatches.......

I am in North Raleigh North of I-540 off of Falls of Neuse. It isn't raining yet but I can see the lightning in the distance. The sky and clouds are lighting up like a scene out of "Close Encounters"!

It's real flashy up here in North Durham. We are headed to the beach this weekend and unfortunately I think the bad weather is going to follow us.
