I currently have a decision to make re: my children's schools. I currently have a daughter at Ballentine, and my son is assigned to Holly Grove. He has a developmental delay and is soon to get an IEP after his evaluation - so I don't know yet what level of special education he will require.

We live in Fuquay - 4 miles from Ballentine and over 8 miles to Holly Grove. If I transfer my son to Ballentine, I have to provide transportation (yikes gas prices). They would get bussed to Holly Grove but they would be on the bus for a longer time than in my car.

The two schools are pretty equal in test scores - and I have visited both schools - but haven't decided that either of these have a clear advantage over the other except the transportation issues.

Any feedback or ideas or either or preferably both of these schools? I realize much is subjective, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. TIA
