As the weather has it possible thunderstorms this PM (Post Morning).
This weather pattern has been really about right IMWO!
Yesterday was a fantastic sun filled day with light variable winds.
I often wonder about 'variable' winds. I guess in a hurricane they
are considered 'Gusty and Steady' and 'blow your roof off' type of winds.

But variable oh they are the ones that cool you down a bit when the
sun gets a blazing, they are the ones that may occasionally move
your weather vain a degree of two, or make your flag flutter.
I suppose they can even blow your cap off or make some garbage
along the interstates fly around. I guess one can say the answer is
well 'variable'.

But variable, stable, constant, and changing and ever present sun and
wind makes for an enjoyable outdoor time! Enjoy your triangular day!

They're here!

We have hail, which by the way is growing in size each few minutes, along with severe thunder and lightning. And lets not forget the big winds.

It just started sprinkling at my place in southern Durham.

It got dark here so fast! And the wind is really strong. It feels like the sort of storm that can produce tornadoes.

I just saw on Weather.com that Apex is under a tornado warning...tornado spotted in southern and western Wake County! I'm hoping all of my old neighbors have weather radios and take cover! I remember seeing a debate on here with some claiming weather radios were pointless in NC with others arguing you can never be too safe!
