This is so funny - I was trying to describe the Christmas Tree Shop to someone yesterday!! It's one of those places that I could never get out of without a basketful of stuff I didn't need!!!

Definitely! Christmas Tree Shops. I miss them too. You could find just about anything you need there, and lots of stuff you don't need but just have to have!

Some things I'd go to:

* Gigantic WATER PARK! WOOOT!
* Indoor, climate controlled paintball

Both those would be great.
We need more things the whole family can enjoy together.

The N. Raleigh/Wake Forest area needs better food in general. I spent 30 years in NYC and 5 in Savannah, GA. My wife and I have lived in Wake Forest for two years now, and while we have a very good Italian restaurant and a very good West Coast/Mexican place, there is almost nothing else.

Lots of burgers and crappy "Texas roadhouse" style places. Blegghh!

A Whole Foods would be a godsend (although I would quickly go broke). My wife and I always head to Ben's Kosher Deli on Long Island when we go back to NY, so I will say we need a kickass Jewish deli.

Mmmm, matzo ball soup!!

I know Wegman's

I would like to see more family activities. A waterpark would be great! Another cool thing I suggested before is an outdoor pool, food, entertainment place.

There is a Steak & Shake in Wake Forest - off Capital just past S. Main St. heading north (Wal-Mart shopping center).
