Default What Is Missing From N.Raleigh/Wake Forest?

It appears that the North(east) Raleigh area into Wake Forest/Rolesville is growing fast. There are tons of new strip-malls with empy stores. So my question to all of you....

What is missing (retail or service-wise) that could fit into a storefront? What do you miss from other areas? What have you seen in other areas and liked? What do we need (um...want)?

And please don't say more Starbucks. Yuck.

I hope they get TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshall's closer to Wake Forest. We aren't really big mall shoppers. Any stores similar to those near WF? I guess Ross is by the Triangle Town Center. I did hear rumor of TJ Maxx comming to WF? I'd like to see an Aldi closer to WF.

My NOT wish list...... being a lot of good stores were added to the wish list.

Not another:

Nail Place
Hair cut shop
Pizza Place
Tax Service
Cell phone Store
Roasted Peanut Shop
Mattress store
Shoe Store

Saturation comes to mind and it could be why there is so many empty retail shops around the Triangle Town Center area and points North.

I don't live up there anymore, but I'd have to agree with several posters that North Raleigh / Wake Forest are hurting for any kind of organic food store. I think the most northerly one is the Harmony Farms on Creedmoor. However, I understand Wake Forest does have a good farmer's market.

Well, J, I figured it was better than driving all the ay out to Cary and Chapel Hill, so it was worth a mention.
