Default Best inexpensive furniture stores near Raleigh

I'm moving to raleigh at the beginning of August into my first apartment so I need everything from a bed to couches to side tables.. I want to try and find furniture down there so I don't have to haul it down from DC. This being my first apartment right out of college I'm just looking for some basic pieces that can last me a few years, nothing too fancy! Thanks so much! :0)

You could try Craigslist, as they often have a lot of good pieces. Also, Father & Son antiques in Raleigh has some nice mid-century modern stuff at (I think) reasonable prices. If you were looking specifically at new furniture, then you might try some stores near High Point, as I've heard they have good furniture at great prices.

I've heard that Rooms to Go has reasonably priced furniture, but I'm not sure as to the quality.

Right after college, we bought really inexpensive but sharp looking furniture from ValueCity, but I'm not sure if the store exists any more. The furniture has lasted many years, and while we were selling our home we had many comments on how the 'staged' furniture looked great!
