I was offered a job at a school, but I am having second thoughts because I am not hearing good things about the administration. Anyway, I was offered by email and accepted by email, I didn't sign anything. Can I still apply for other jobs? I do not feel comfortable when people in authority don't do the right thing.

Given that nothing is in writing, I'd not feel compelled to stop looking and applying. Depending on the hiring process, though, other principals may know that you've been hired and are working your way through the bureaucratic process, so may not be responsive to your application. Where are you getting info about the administration? Do you know people at the school already?

Not sure if you are in Wake, but I would caution you that all the principals know each other. I'd be careful.

I saw your old thread asking about the specific school....I don't blame you for being uneasy about working there. If you haven't signed anything then you shouldn't be obligated to work at that school...there are many better options in Wake County.
