I'm not a huge Buffet guy, but I have been to Sweet Tomatoes once or twince in Raleigh (Off of Capital) and it was pretty good.

There is a strange place near Super Walmart called the Chinese and Mexican buffet. That oughta be good, right?

There is a Golden Corral in Wake Forest too.

I haven't eaten at either. However, if you travel down Capital Blvd into Raleigh, there is a Sweet Tomatoes. I eat there a lot and love it.

Okay...too weird NRG... we posted about Sweet Tomatoes at the same time.

Beckycat, guess that's a sign that you should try the place.

Be sure to try a dessert I like to call "warm chocolate glop." It's like partially-cooked brownie batter.

Andy's Pizza at Quail Corners has had a great weekday lunch buffet for over 30 years.

For Indian food, there's a pretty decent lunch buffet at Saffron in Cary on Davis Dr. They go an ala carte dinner menu in the evenings.
