Default houses for sale by owner
New to Chapel Hill. I am wondering how to find houses for sale by owner. Just drive around to look for signs? Ads on newspapers? Or a list somewhere?

Craigslist is the best place to look (filter out the realtor ads).

As far as driving around goes, I see the FSBOs signs are in Carborro. Drive up Greensboro, down Fayetteville, then back Main and you'll see at least a dozen.
