I am a home day care owner and I was wondering where can I find a list of places that are free of charge to take the kids on field trips.

I can't think of a list anywhere but maybe you can get ideas here on the forum.
What age are the kids and how many. I am thinking of a few things that you could do with 2-4 kids but not 10.

I just found this list of free things to do in Raleigh.
Here is the link. Hope it helps. Also maybe the
parents would pay the fees at some places that they
want their kids to enjoy/experience .

By looking this up for you I have discovered a neat resource!! Below is a link to sign up for a monthly newsletter that highlights upcoming events in the area.
At the bottom of the form you can check the type activities you are interested in (there is a place to check kid activities.) I always seem to read about the cool events after they take place so maybe this will help me find out before.

The life and Science museum in Durham is free on Wednesday for Durham residents. Also there is this place in Chapel Hill called Kidzu it is free on Sundays. And then there is the museum of natural science in Raleigh that is free everyday.
