Anything special going on next week? (Raleigh, Durham: home, to live, nightlife)

My boyfriend and I will be making our first visit to the area next week to see if Raleigh is indeed the city in which we want to live come September. We'll be arriving late Sunday, June 1st, and leaving Thursday the 5th. I was just wondering if there's any special events or anything going on during those days that we should check out.

It is a shame you won't be here on Saturday, there is a free concert downtown in Raleigh with the Wailers (former band of Bob Marley).

You might catch a baseball game. Durham Bulls are always fun and now there is nightlife right next to the stadium. The NCAA Baseball tournament is also going on and both Raleigh AND Cary are hosting games on Sunday. NC State will be hosting at Doak Field in Raleigh, and UNC will be hosting the USA Baseball complex in Cary (there home field is unavailable).
