Short Term Rentals... (Raleigh, Cary, Apex: apartment complex, month to, townhouse)

We are looking for a short/mid term rental (6 months to start and then month to month). We would prefer a townhouse in the Cary, Apex, South western Raleigh, Western Raleigh, North Raleigh,etc. I combed thru crigslist and couldnt find anything close enough. Apartments (and Managed Properties) are looking for a longer term contracts (1 year plus).

Can you guys give me some pointers. Also is there a place where I can find people need to move out and are looking for to break their lease in the near future,etc.

Many places offer 3 and 6 month leases at managed properties. Check out the major search sites like rent, apartmentsearch, etc and you should have no problem. There's also a publication called apartment guide available in grocery stores here that has lists/directories. I've found that more often than not, sub 1-year leases are available.

Hi Andy, the apartment complex we've been renting in has 6 month leases. They have anywhere from 1-3 bedrooms and are really very nice. The complex is quiet, pet friendly, great pool, has a lovely clubhouse with access to 24 hr gym, business center with fax/computer etc. There are even some with garages. It is located on rt 55 in Cary, 5 minutes to RTP. It's called Park at Vista - you can google it.
