Does anyone know of an Anger management group or class in or near Durham. Friend has no medical coverage but needs a little help . Thanks

I'm guessing that your friend might not be employed since she/he has no medical coverage, but they might try their Employer's employee assistance program.

Duke has offered a program at Teer House, your friend might consider calling to see if they're going to repeat it:

I would recommend the book The Dance of Anger. Also, there are a ton of therapists that deal with anger management. You can get recommendations for therapists on the Psychology Today website. Google it and you can look up therapists and their specialties.

I might suggest Dialectical Behavior Therapy. There's some info and a local practitioner here Home plus a link to an anger management class.
