Maybe someone with the right connections will see this and agree that it is time for the following stores and restaurants to move here. Probably unlikely but it feels good to share my rant with others...
Here they are in no particular order:

-IKEA! Yes one is coming to Charlotte next year, which is only an hr less trek than Potomac Mills, but I don't think I'm alone in wishing that we'd get one too out near Triangle Town Center or even Brier Creek, Durham, heck anywhere in the triangle would be nice.

-Trader Joes! I want one above the friggin beltline! Wakeforest Rd will still be a hike for people like me who make the long commute out to cary or even chapel hill.

-Bertuccis! Yes i was spoiled in MA by living so close to delicious brick oven pizza and I've tried all the pizza hot spots around here, they don't compare

-Dunkin Donuts. Sure i could go to Crabtree valley where they've given me puzzled looks as i ask for an iced coffee. But it'd be nice not to have to pay an arm and a leg just to get a little caffeine in my system.

-In-n-Out! I know this one is hopeless, but i can still dream!

Stores we don't need anymore of (forgive the poor English, thanks!):
-Best Buy: Did we really need another BB between South Point and Crabtree Valley? I thought it was unnecessary, but apparently i was wrong b/c they're building one right behind the Ale House at Brier Creek. Oh joy even more traffic in a poorly designed area.

Have i left out any for either rant?

I live in the area and I welcome the Best Buy! I do agree on some of your points though, I'd love the Trader Joe's!
