What a great sunrise this AM on the ride in on 540
from way up in Wake Forest to way down here in
RTP. As it slid, the sun that is up over the eastern
hills it brightened the dark of night and sent it away
for another day! It was a cool slightly clouded, well
mostly clouded, maybe semi clouded sky, you decide.
But the air was cool and crisp and clear! What a
beautiful sunrise in the Carolina's! The mercury will
track northward today but for this morning it is still
laying low as the sun tracks high in the sky!

Just a great day to be day dreaming as the car finds its way
to work. Hopefully all the cars, trucks, and tractor
trailers that flew by me took the time to enjoy the
sunrise as well! Happy Thursday!

Yes, it certainly is a beautiful morning here. This Spring has been surprisingly cool with plenty of rain to quench the longstanding drought. I keep hearing about the dreaded heat and humidity but have not yet experienced it. It seems this will become a reality this weekend - supposed to hit 90's. Just in time for our move into our new place tomorrow!!

Good luck with the move!! Yes the heat is not far off the horizon but I'll take it whenever it comes! It still beats 2 feet of snow with wind chills below zero! I can surely get use to shoveling ice cubes into the pool down here than shoveling ice from my driveway up north! Been there and done that and never looked back!

Tell me. What is this "sun" thing of which you speak?

Sincerely,
Suncat, in temporary exile in Portland, Oregon.

Its a big round yellow ball that rises in the east and set in the west. Best places to see one often is South of Virgina and as far west as the mountains in the western parts of Carolina's! Been known to stretch as far south as the Florida Keys on the good less humid days!

So head on down to the Carolina's to witness a sun rise or two for yourself!

btw: Its sets just as nice as it rises!!!

Oh yea and it does this show no matter how high or low homes prices or gas prices or milk and eggs prices get!

My husband said exactly the same thing of this morning's sunrise. He watched it from the picture window in the sitting area of the kitchen. I am sorry I wasn't yet up, and missed it.

Truth be said the sun set was prettier than the sun rise.
That giant yellow ball headed to the land of the jobs but
sure looked fantastic as it set upon the horizon.
Now we await its arrival back to the Carolina's for a
new day.....Friday even! Now how cool is that!
