Any idea if the Sunset properties sell memberships to non-residents? I've passed by that Sunset Oaks pool on Optimist Farm and would love to try out that slide

It does but it is currently closed to non-residents. We were looking at some houses in Sunset Oaks and Sunset Ridge and it was on the paperwork regarding the pool.

Jeez. I think that I'll stick to my blow-up kiddie pool in the back yard. This one is $600 initiation fee + $875/year dues.

You may have a better chance of finding out if they take non-resident members if you contact them directly.

Not very smart to put your name and email address in a public forum like this.

You can get a pool only membership at the Raleigh Racquet Club (http://www.rrctennis.com/site/membership/forms/rrcMembershipFees.pdf - broken link).

Old thread but since we are reviving it...Greystone Swim Club (North Raleigh) has open memberships.

If their membership is down, some years they have eliminated the joining fee and just had people pay the summer fee.

Seven Oaks (North Raleigh) usually has a waiting list.
