Cary Swim Club in central Cary is a "community swim club" not a subdivision club. Anyone is welcome to join and I know they have membrships available!

We join Hampton Ridge (off Pagan Road in the 27603 zip) every year. It's $400 for the summer and an awesome pool.

The Tarheel Swim Association has an interesting list of all the clubs on their roster. I don't know how many of them are open to the public, but it would be a good place to start if you just want to know which subdivisions have clubs: Tarheel Swimming Association

Lochmere wouldn't be too far from the Penny Road area but I can't remember if membership is limited to Lochmere residents or not.... The only reason I question it is because they have membership applications etc...

Red face Summertime pool club

Harrington Grove Swim and Racquet club is a neighborhood pool which is open to outside members. But it also may be quite a haul for you too.... Good luck!

Only 7 miles from our house. That's the closest one yet. Thanks

Good list! Crooked Creek is about 4 miles from me, Bentwinds is about 6 miles, and Sunset Ridge is about 8 miles. I'll see if they have memberships.

Wow! Some of these places are a bit pricey. Like this one. . . . .$300 to join and $700 in dues. But I think that includes tennis etc.

If you join Sunset Ridge, you belong to all 3 pools which includes Sunset Oaks, which is right on Optimist Farm Rd.
