Default wholesale bricks/pavers

Anyone know of any businesses in the area that sell bricks and pavers wholesale. For patios, walkways, borders, and retaining walls - not stone though, there seem to be many of those.

Moderator cut: removed I am looking for a better price than what Home Depot and Lowes offer...but not having too much luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could always DM me if it is against forum rules to post business names.

thanks....

Yes. I am a geologist and I have visted Triangle Brick Company. It's a little bit of a drive down Old US 1 towards Chapel Hill, but they make very great quality bricks in a lot of different finishes. They are, I believe, the largest brick provider here and produce the bricks right on site. They even make hand-made pavers and special cut bricks, but they can be a bit pricey.
They have a small showroom with probably 30 different kinds of colors and finishes.

With their handmade bricks being pricey, are their regular brick pavers competitively priced against the warehouse stores? More, less? ARe they still made of brick, or that concrete composite I'm finding at the warehouse stores? Lastly, do you know much about their fees for delivery and if they buy back excess brick? Sorry, I'm interested too even though I know I can call. May as well get the inside scoop first!

Heck yeah! Honestly, I'm not too sure about their prices but with the housing market being so low right now, they are overstocked on brick like crazy. So, depending on the type of brick you want, you may be getting a relatively cheap price.

They do not use concrete composite at all. They use local red Triassic shale they mine right on site.

They may buy excess brick back, but again, I'm not too sure of their fees and costs. I know they have provided a lot of brick to NC State and some of my professors even have houses made from their brick. I know they do deliver all over the country. They even offer tours of their company and how they make their bricks (which is very interesting and they are super friendly!)

Good luck!

Great reference. And the tour aspect sounds interesting. Definitely worth a visit on my next day off. Thx, SoMuchBetter!

Btw,BrentwoodBoy, I wasn't meaning to take the wind out of the thread here. I know that a lot more resources will be helpful since we've only discussed one right now and cost, indeed, is a factor. Especially these days when everything seems to be going up in price.
