Default Relocation

Relocating to the Raleigh area to build you all a new water treatment plant near the shores of Lake Benson somewhere. After dealing with a 45 minute drive in the mornings here in Atlanta that can turn into a 2 hour drive home in the evenings, i am planning on buying a home within a easy commute from the Lake Benson area. Never been to the Raleigh area, heck, don't even know exactly where Raleigh is to tell you the truth since we are not from this part of the country originally. Looks to me like Garner is about the closest named town to Lake Benson though. Of course like everyone else, all the usual things are important to us when it comes to choosing a home (schools, crime, value, etc.) Any realtors out there want to take us under their wing? Have been reading all the message boards and looking at realtor.com, but i need to start talking with a live person who really knows the area up there. Going to make a long weekend drive up that way within the next several weeks to get a little better acquainted with the area and really try to narrow down the area we want to buy in. Would like to hear any and all information you all have to share and would like to hear from any and all realtors who may be interested in working with us. Thanx alot!!

Thumbs up Well, I'll toss my hat into the Realtor ring.

You can have the commute, the neighborhood, and the schools.
Nice thing about your future workplace is that you can set up to drive opposite the drivetime congestion.
There is no reason you should have a 45 minute commute.
All contact info is under my screen name.

I grew up in Atlanta and lived most recently in Boston. I know people here sometimes complain, but they have no idea how good they have it. The time it takes to get from one place to another is almost always exactly what Googlemaps says it will take, unless it's rush hour. Then add just a bit more (10-15% tops).
