Default Heat Does Me a Big Favor

Well, every cloud has a silver lining.

When I bought my 08 Corolla in 12/07. dealer put a vinyl signature on the trunk. Was not happy with it but didn't want to heat or scrape to remove it.

Well, the heat today softened the glue so I could just pull the letters off. A quick polish with Meguiar's cleaner/polish got it off and polished the trunk lid to boot.

So, there's some good to the heat.

Now, to take my wife and daughter to Bahama Breeze followed by a dip in our clean, cool community pool.

Keep cool everyone and enjoy our premature summer.

There is something good about everything, eh.

Bahama Breeze has got to be the most fantastic chain restaurant around. Easily the best of the Darden chains. Just a fun place with a *great* menu.

And I love how proud you are of your apartment community, saturnfan. I'm also a proud renter and I love my clean, quiet and safe apartment community too.

Thanks for the support, James.

Renting's not all that bad. I could buy a home for cash but prefer to let Drucker & Falk handle maintenance.

I get my exercise with 2 hours daily at the gym.

Saturnfan, thanks for the reminder about the heat advantages. My kids left crayons in the back of my car and the crayons melted... fortunately on the rubber mat that lines the cargo area. I think I'll set it out in the sun today and let mother nature help me correct this issue.

We're on our way to the pool today too. But we're heading to an indoor community pool. We've been out in the sun too many hours this week and even w/ sun screen we've all gotten more exposure than I would like.

Slip on a shirt, slap on a hat, and slop on some sunscreen!
