I also moved from Fl 2 1/2 years ago, I am also longing for some caribbean culture. I have been to concerts at the Lincoln theatre to see artises perform such as Sanchez, capleton, and beres and Buju should be here this year. it is clean and decent and safe at the lincoln theater. I am looking for plays and other events to hopefully get here. I guess we that are here have to mobilize and get something started.

"sak pase" my Hatian neighbor. I am Jamaican living in Durham, but I have not seen or heard of many West Indians here either .... Can't even find a decent West Indian restaurant either.
