Now the base price has gone down $26,000! It's starting to get very distressing because we would not want to lose this home, especially with closing right around the corner now, but geesh that's a lot of money! If we threatened to back out, it would really be bluff because we've made all the upgrades to make this home our dream home. Any advice?

Same question I guess - what would the exact same house cost you today with all the upgrades/incentives/discounts you got/chose/negotiated?
dinalkulp--My advice to you, and I say this with a great deal of compassion, is to stop, I said STOP, looking at the prices now. You're close to closing on your dream home. You paid what the home was worth to you at the time and you did the best you could. The market in its current state will only drive you crazy. Find your inner zen, and be at peace with it. And STOP looking at the prices. *hugs*
