We also highly recommend the UNC midwives practice. My wife delivered both of our children with them and we were very, very happy with the experience.
Just note that they only deliver at UNC hospital (they are not an at home midwife practice). For us, this had the upside of being in the hospital already if delivery got complicated. The downside is that since you are at the hospital, you'll have to have at least some monitoring done during labor (checking heart rate every 15 min). Which can lead to more intervention (continuous monitoring).
Also it is a practice of 6 midwives...during your prenatal checkups you rotate through all the midwives so you will meet them all, and then you will be delivered by the one who is on call.
