Anyone else get flash flooding over the weekend? Here's a picture of our flash flood... it was DEEP (see green line). Not a threat to anything, but I was surprised how quickly it came and went. The red is the typical size of the creek and the blue circles are the pipes.

we got a little flooding in our front and rear yards (just the typical stuff). It hasn't flooded in a while though, so it was nice to see. Looks like this weekend I'll have to cut our grass for the first time in the last 4 weeks! I love it...bring on more rain!

i was camping with my church group by the lake and we got hit by the flood while in canoes. we rushed back to camp, the tents were collapsing and being washed away. i had no bedding or sleeping bag. they were completely soaked. only 1 of the tents remained unharmed. i slept that night wet, cold, and uncomfortalby. there were two flash floods that night. the first one did the most damage. but it was ironic. because our church had picked our motto this year to be fearless. we were fearless through ticks, bugs, humididty, flash flood #1, and flash flood #2

We had a river running though our side yard and down the street. Quite a storm. I took some pictures, but haven't uploaded them yet. I can definitely see where it would have caused flash floods in places.

agirlll, that was an awfully slow-moving flood if you got hit by it two years after it hit Durham.
