Default Kittrell...anyone know about the town?

Thinking of renting a house there and from what I've seen online, it looks to be pretty tiny.
Anyone live there now or have before?
Any advice on stores, schools, etc...

I appreciate you all! (opps, I mean y'all

I needed to look it up on a map. That is some pretty rural country out that way in Vance County. I don't think there is much of anything in the way of stores in Kittrell. I imagine you would need to do most if not all of your shopping in Henderson. Will you be telecommuting to work? I only ask because that is a fairly remote location and I can't imagine a commute from there into the Triangle area would be all that great!

Default I wish we could telecommute!

If we like what we see when we come up there (in Cary now) we'll look for work in Henderson area I expect.
Fiance' just got laid off, so it's a good time for him to be job hunting anyway.

I'm a stay at home mom right now, but will need to find work soon.

Thanks for the reply!

From what I've been told from someone that grew up in that area, most people living there were born there. (Her father moved there for a law enforcement job years ago.)

Not sure what line of work your fiance is in, but everyone that I know that lives in Henderson drives to Raleigh for work every day.
